I think that what you posted made a lot of sense. However, think on this, what if you were to create a awesome headline? I am not saying your information is not solid, but what if you added a headline that grabbed people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post headlines to get people to click. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab people excited about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.
